The passenger side electric window works when it wants. When it doesn't work there is not even a sound of it trying to work regardles of if I use the driver or passenger side switch. How do I resolve this issue?

My 944 has suffered a few electrical gremlins. On of the guys up here took my fuse box cover off and run his fingers over the fuses, turning them all over inside their holders. This cured a few of the minor issues. Try removing the window relay too and cleaning the contacts. The other thing I would check is the connections inside the door panel at the motor. I just spoke to someone who's window stopped when the wires broke where they go through from the car into the door.

The window lift switches contact can get dirty, you can open them up amd clean them, if not about £25 to buy new

It played up again today. I opened and closed the door again and it started working therefore I guess it is a loose connection in the door or a dodgy motor.

Could be a break in the loom from car into the door?
