Welcome & good to see a few more folks in the Mid Engined section :-)

Any pics/specs of your new toys?

Stephen are you going to run your Boxster as standar on track or have you got some mods planned?

Here is my new car (prior to registration change). it has covered 93k miles over 3 owners and comes with a few challenges....not the least a lazy cam chain tensioner that has raised it's ugly head this week, so will be going into my local indie for rectification.

The car had been off the road since last September (unfortunately the previous owner had a few issues that forced the sale of the house and car). I had a little excitement on the first weekend of ownership when the air/oil separator failed dramatically filling the A23 with smoke :-0

I have just fitted 4 new Continental tyres and will be carrying out a major service tomorrow. Once all of the mechanicals are completed, I have a friendly body-man who attended to my Jaguar and will be tasked with fettling the metalwork. (usual car-park dings).

Electronically, I am working on a few issues; the front bonnet will not release on the button; the central locking isn't working on the key (but works on the dashboard button) and the climate control screen needs replacement...all in good time.

For now I am really enjoying the car, we went for a quick drive in the countryside yesterday and ended up covering 300 miles through the New Forest and on to a quick mini tour of Dorset.....Porches do that to you :D
