The last posts on Waterless Coolants was a couple of years ago. Anyone tried waterless in a Boxster / Cayman? |

Heard good & bad to be honest. Enough bad that I wouldn't try it. |

Thanks Jim. I can't say that I have a strong inclination to try it, but was drawn to ask opinions because it appears to deal with high temps better than water based coolants? |

I have a friend who has several expensive classic cars, some with high performance engines, and he swears by it and uses it in all of his cars. Other people strongly dislike it. I spoke to the MD of Radtec about this a couple of years ago and he doesn't like it at all. It seems to me that the vast majority of people do not use it. David |

Banned from a lot of race tracks in the USA for both racing & track days as it is A. extremely slippery when spilt & B> very inflammable. Also more viscous than water so loads up the water pump drive by a fair amount. |
