Any advice on replacement 987 car key casings? (I believe these keys are common to other models)

My car is a Feb 2005 MY. I have the standard three button, fixed key blade in the grey and black coloured casing. Same old problem, the casing has cracked and is in need of replacement. There are several sellers on flea bay, but before i commit myself to parting with cash, i'd welcome the observations from others who have carried out replacements.

Just a thought, but has anyone tried a folding blade casing?
