hi

could anybody please advise me on how to fix my door, its basically not dropping down when you pull the door handle, so clips the roof on entrance and getting out the car, I've changed the microswitch but still does the same, I'm going to change the window motor, but i don't think its that either,

If i open the door, in try's to wind down but doesn't go no more than 2/3ml

any ideas??

Check the carpet under the passenger seat, is it soaking wet? If so that can be the problem as that is where the module that controls it lives. TBH it needs scanning to find out what is going on.

Have a look on the link below it tells you how to adjust windows & check for faults. As Jim says check everything is dry first.

Fingers crossed its just adjustment thats needed (I am sure I read somewhere the windows have to be fully opened & closed a few times to reset themselves but not 100% on that).

Thanks for getting back to me,

I think it's the ecu unit that's damp, as I can't enter the car now at all, due to the standard alarm coming back on and I don't have the fob to unlock it. Problems after problems
