Anyone offer any hints, tips, recommendations etc. on a sports exhaust for an '06 3.4? (the missus wants one!). She's after a more gurgly, raunchy sound (at a good price hehe) but not a super loud boy racer noise.

Cheers for any help!!!

Gert at Carnewal in Belgium will modify it for around £350, you will get the Porsche PSE sound permanently on with no drone on the motorway which in my view is very important.

However if you go to see Gert, let me know.
I've been there twice and may come over for a day out

Hehe. I wonder of there's anyone around 'ere that's got a sport exhaust I can have a listen to - I need to be careful I get the sound I want (not too raucous) or it could be a mistake?

There are plenty about, mainly boxsters I'd wager. If you remember Al's Boxster that was with us on the tour, you'd get something very similar, he uses it as a daily driver.

Fabspeed... Manifolds to tailpipe.. Not cheap but absolutely amazing sound and it also improves performance.

Once I can get back in the workshop I can mod your exhaust to be a permanent sports sound, have done it a few times to Caymans/Boxsters and it is really popular on the 997's.. Only problem is that I will not be up to it for a month or two.. till then I will be in the workshop pottering rather than lugging exhausts around, even if just on the fabrication bench!

However, I am not keen on the sound compared to a car with tubular manifolds, as the original ones are made like an old bicycle frame, not good for flow or acoustics!!
