When reversing on full lock, feels like something seriously wrong -like the one of the front wheels is square not round :? - does this sound familiar to anyone?
mentioned to my MOT inspector but could find nothing wrong.

My Cayman is the same - it's perfectly normal for it to be 'jumpy' when full lock reversing (so I'm told) :-)

this phenomenon will occur on near to, or at full steering lock in forward or reverse at manoevering speeds and is due to the characteristics of the tyre wall allowing deformation and then recovery... happens on my 991

(Should this thread be in cars for sale?) :)

Hi,
My boxter seems to make a clunking noise too at almost full lock on both reverse and forward. It is intermittent though.
Truly hope it is normal, I was thinking ££££ also !!! :bom:
